StartupsIntel ("we") runs startupsintel.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password when you register.
• Billing data: your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
• Usage data: domains you look up, pages you visit and basic technical logs (IP address, browser), kept for security and to prevent abuse.
• Messages you send us through the contact form.

Why we use it

To provide the service, secure accounts, process payments, answer messages and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and one local setting for light or dark mode. We do not use advertising cookies.

Where data is stored

Our servers are in Germany (European Union). Email delivery and payments use trusted processors that may process data in other countries under standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Security logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Data about companies

Startup and website profiles contain business information that is publicly available or published by founders. See data removal to correct or remove a profile.
